Many artists start their careers carving and painting boabs for sale as gifts, decorations and for sharing stories before moving onto painting on canvas and other art forms. Artefacts are made locally by artists and craftspeople, many of whom are Mangkaja artists. Keep an eye out for their paintings in our artwork section.
