Serial Paso Robles Red Blend PopovDeep ruby hues in the glass hint at the ripe fruits abound in this bright red blend from Paso Robles. Syrah and zinfandel lead the blend lending umami, spice and meatiness to the silky fruit notes of cran raspberry, cherry and strawberry. Equal parts grenache, petite sirah and mourvedre complete the blend creating a juicy, layered wine with racy acidity, silky tannins and soft edges.

The vineyards are worked traditionally with ploughing rather than chemicals for weed control and to encourage the roots to go deeper

The Recanati winery is in the Hefer Valley near Hadera

followed by vanilla and brioche

but remains close to an equal split between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (with a very small majority of Chardonnay)

5% Merlot and 1% Malbec
