In my mind

While the grenache is sourced from the DOOLE vineyard

we want the fruit and earth to speak with the clearest voice

with hints of citrus tart

with hailstorms and extreme heat lead to greatly reduced yields for the 2019 vintage

so we kept the skin contact time to just 5 days during fermentation

It deserves as much of the spotlight as its now world famous cohort Shiraz

violets and cigar box
