Redacted Naggin 20cl Premier cruThis naggin is a 20 year old single grain Irish whiskey distilled by the Cooley Distilley in Co. Louth. They then took that long aged grain and finished it to embrace the sweet flavours of Barolo wine. While their whiskey naggin was captive in the embrace of Barolo's finest Italian wine casks it underwent a metamorphosis. Throughout the autumn and summer we tasted it making sure the magic was taking place because it had to be perfect. What happened

Chenin Blanc (33%)

The nose reveals a beautiful intensity marked by aromas of small black fruits

The quality of the Oloroso casks takes centre stage

which yield a deliciously delicate and fruity spirit

especially at the end of fruit ripening

The winery and vineyards are located in a section of the Uco Valley called Gualtallary ("Gualta")

and baking spice flavours of nutmeg and cinnamon

are gradually unveiled
