BERG Monkey Hand Puppet ~ 1950s Rare! Else_Hecht_PuppetBERG is an Austrian manufacturer established in the mid 40s. They created lovely stuffed animals and hand puppets with the slogan "Animals with Heart" and a distinctive red heart shaped chest pendant. Here's an example of a rare Monkey Hand Puppet from the early days of the company. Similar to other creations of the 1950s, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Austria. Its face, with unusual open mouth, gives this character a very unique expression.

This puppet is in good vintage condition and although it appears to have never been used

Its wooden head is nicely carved and hand painted
