CH-28 Sawbuck Chair, 1951 LuupoThe CH 28 chair by Hans Wegner was designed in 1951 for Carl Hansen & Son and produced at their factory in Odense, Denmark. It was part of the 2nd collection of Wegner's designs made by Carl Hansen as part of a long and successful collaboration. The Sawbuck dining chairs followed a year later in 1952. The majority of Wegner's output up to that point had been handmade by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen in Copenhagen for the annual Snedkerlaugets

collaborating on many of Wanscher's most iconic and well-loved creations including this piece as well as the Egyptian folding stool
