Showing serious range and intensity

Still a little closed on the nose but the palate certainly is much more evolved and open

Boats that passed on the Garonne had to lower their sails in deference and the term "Baisse-Voile" (lowering of sails) became Beychevelle

During the French Revolution (1789-1799) the estate was divided in two with a small section becoming Chateau Leoville Barton

Hence the name
