The birds we could see off the Asa Wright veranda were amazing

It was snowing and raining on the day we took the Beagle Channel boat

on the hummingbird feeders

This is an interesting pose for the Black-throated Green Warbler

Here the pinks and purples of the male Costa gorgette shine and some of the blues look black

This rounded mountain looks like it is rooted in a sea of yellow and orange waves

She doesn't even gather her chicks under her wings to protect them

I definitely had to contort my body  and risk dropping my equipment in the pond to get this shot
