Moon Set At Lone Peak lilyA nearly full winter moon settles behind the western horizon at Lone Peak in Big Sky, Montana while clouds take on the color of a new day. I spent several days in both December and January 2020 trying to get the "perfect" shot of this iconic ski mountain at sunrise. It was interesting to see how similar certain parts of the mountain felt and also how very different depending on the amount of cloud cover, level of light, and air temperature. I'm always
