This pickguard is made to fit the Fender 4 String American Professional Precision Bass Made from Black Abalone 4 ply (abalone/black/white/black) PVC material with a clear protective removable masked top

If you are not sure on how to route the side slot in your guitar then we highly recommend taking the instrument to a local qualified guitar luthier who can carry the work out for you
